I'm a dead head... it's like being a death head but 1000000x better!
Wormed is the best in brutal death metal IMO.
Disgorge >>> Wormed
Devourment lol
Abominable Putridity FTW!
Suffocation dudes.
Abominable Putridity has far superior burping vocals.
I wouldnt consider Suffocation to be brutal death metal at all.
ha!
Not anymore at least.
I have Infecting the Crypts stuck in my head right now... |
I'm listening to that right now.
I listened to Human Waste yesterday. It's such a solid EP.
Its my favorite Ep of all time.
It's good, but not THAT good
Despise the Sun EP is really solid too.

Now tell me the difference between Death Metal and Brutal Death Metal please. |
It's a noticeable difference, it's hard to explain. But Suffocation do not fit into the Brutal DM field at all IMO.
Listen to Disgorge (Mex) or Deeds of Flesh and then listen to Suffocation or Autopsy. That's the difference.

Effigy of the Forgotten had some of the most guttural vocals ever recorded up to that point, and it also made extensive use of slam riffs/breakdowns, blastbeats, and that unique sense of melody that all characterize brutal death metal. They might not be as "brutal" as alot of brutal death today, but pretty much every brutal death metal band ripped them off somehow. I mean, you don't have to consider them brutal death metal, but you should at least know how vital they were to it. /2cents |
 I messed up the links. How many albums did I send you? just the deeds of flesh?
I don't care much for Deeds of Flesh x_x

I said I didn't consider them brutal death. That doesn't mean I'm ignorant to their influence. ****ing hell, stop taking any chance you can to flaunt your pretty common knowledge of Suffocation.
I don't care much for Deeds of Flesh x_x
Deeds of Flesh is ****ing terrible. |
