I haven't listened to Malevolent Creation since I checked out The Fine Art of Murder, around when I was first getting into death metal. Can't really remember it.

Because the last one was something of an abomination.

Anyway, I'm plenty happy with glimpses of new Cynic, and thankful to Cocaine to pointing me towards them.

I don't want to spoil it, so I'll wait, but do they have the robotic voice?

Can't really tell, it's not the best quality around. I think I read somewhere that the effect was only included on Focus because Masvidal messed up his throat, though.

One can only hope that they have scrapped it this time.

I hope that's sarcasm.

Hey new thread, I haven't listen to much DM lately but I've discovered a band called Alchemist, do you guys like them? Really good progressive death metal from Australia.

I never really minded it.

I am annoyed that they played in London a couple of days ago without my being there, though. Just hope they play on my isle some more.

It's the same for me. I'd still listen to the new album if they kept the robot vocals, but I'd prefer it without them.

What are you talking about? There's been at least 3 CR threads and tons of Comm threads.

Of course, exempting the comm threads, the Classic Rock thread's still more successful.

Dude, get over it, in case you have not noticed, that is the same post as there was on the original version of this thread, so it doesn't matter.
