I LOVE NFG. I still haven't heard the new cd except for "catalyst" and "intro."

After listening to the Warriors cd again, it's not as bad as I once said.

NFG are just another bad pop-punk band. It's just cool to like them.

I don't like them at all. Saves the Day and Relient K are so much better pop-punk wise. I find nothing catchy about NFG at all. I got Catalyst mainly due to the title track, and the rest was a total letdown.

They're cheesy as hell. All their songs are just breakdown, breakdown, breakdown, cheesy lead riff, breakdown, breakdown. The only cool thing about them are the vocals.

And least they can play their guitars and don't rely on breakdowns.

They may be generic, but so many bands that everyone loves are.

The only band I know that uses that many breakdowns is Throwdown. I assume you'll use something like The Opposite Of December against me but even that album doesn't use breakdowns as a main riffing style. Sure they have a breakdown in every song, but The Warriors take a simple breakdown and make it into a 2 and a half minute song.

I like The Warriors. Very good live.

They used to be alright. They definitely are more talented and varied than The Warriors.
