Maybe I'll stick around this time. Who knows. I always say that and then go MIA for months at a time. MX just ain't the same anymore. Or maybe I'm just doing what I should be doing more often, and therefore spending less time on MX...could be.

Seemed like when I first started posting everyone was a relatively close knit group (as close knit as a forum gets anyway!). We used to do tape trades amongst the regulars quite often. And the posting quality was a lot better. I dunno....maybe it's gotten better in the past few months since I left but I know for a while it was pretty bad.

People like to talk about crappy new bands that they think are death metal and this deathcore sh[I]i[/I]t storm that's all the rage these days. :(

Yeah, I sometimes feel like a n00b too. It seems like most of the regulars from back in the day aren't here anymore, so that's probably why. MX is far less elite than it used to be :p

For whatever reason I can't seem to connect to AIM. I know they're doing a lot of work on our network here lately updating servers and such so that might be it. I'll rep you my contact info....e-mail and such. I've been around. Seems like these days I work during the days, party all night, and then recover when I have my kids on the weekends. This whole idea of being single again is gonna get me in trouble!

All the non-death metal talk is annoying sometimes, but as long as it's stuff that would have passed in the old days (doom, black etc) I'm good with it. It's when you get some moron that comes in saying "d00d |<oRn is sooooooooo heavy! They r teh bests deth metl band evr!!!" that gets on my nerves.

Eh, from what i notice usually, we dont get much of that, well as a band like korn.

Nothing has been made that matches the intensity, speed and madness of Legion. It was a one off and probably the best death metal album out.
