It's a 20G one. At the moment I'm just ripping some tunes off CD to put on it.

We all got to knock off from work at 1pm today. Which was neat and I got to walk home in the heat. At the moment it is 34 degrees here. A real stinker.
But the week holiday will be nice.
A couple of trips down the coast are planned, one for over the new years.
That's gonna be awesome.

How are you?
Doing anything special for Chrissy and/or New Years?

Trigger_003 12-23-2005 12:33 AM

It's 34 here too, but it's no biggy (IMO anyway).
Then again, my definition of a stinker is probably 40C+... lol.

Beauty, are you going down with mates?

I'm good thanks - loving the weather. And you're alright? How's your landscaping been going?

Chrissy day we're going to my uncle and auntie's for lunch. They're down on the coast (what... a... shame...), so I'm going to sneak the boards onto the roof before we leave ;).

I still don't know what I'm doing for new years though.

Aes820 12-23-2005 01:09 AM

Yeah. Well it's a dry 34 degrees. (16% humidity) so that's better than it being muggy at least.
I don't mind too much either. I've got a cold one here infront of keeping me company. :D

The front yard is going good, most of it is coping okay.
I planted an Olive tree and a Banksia a little while back. But I'm not going to bother with trying to put a lawn in until end of first quarter next year, when it cools down a bit.

Christmas day is always usually a family thing for me as well. It's the days after and leading up to new years where some good quality time is made spent with friends. Down the beach, BBQ, parties, etc.

How's sunny old England going, Moaner and others?

We had a crazy storm like that a couple of weeks back. The wind nearly took off with a bit of my back pergola. There's nothing like that today tho.
/is gutted

What's happenin over there?
I've been digging up concrete in the heat... horray for summer.
34 degrees

maaan it must suck to lvie where you live

If you died, in the heat, and they found your body, they might not be able to tell how long you'd been dead for

Trigger_003 12-23-2005 03:46 PM

Massive LOL.

Haha, is it just me or do we get that response from everyone over in England?
Moaner, hottest day I've had here is 46... we get 42 pretty often in mid-summer. In comparison 34 really isn't that bad.

Honestly, I'd think it would suck to live where you have about 6 days of "heat" (that being what? 26C? :p) per year, but hey, whatever you're used to I spose.

Looks like another great day today :D
And I've got 4Mb left - I better get off this thing.

Yep. When it hits a massive 28 over there it's known as a 'heat wave'. And all the hospitals fill up with people with people experiencing dehydration and exhaustion.

Diatonic Dissonance™ 12-23-2005 07:53 PM

Haha, too true.

I went to a wedding when it was 48 once.

Worst day ever :(.

Hitting 28 could have disastrous consequences.
Do you have any understanding of how easily our precious crumpets could burn?
Do you? hmm?

I think he's just annoyed because it's never hot enough here for him to see anyone in tiny shorts.

Aes820 12-24-2005 05:45 PM

On a 28 degree day, all your beer would be extra extra warm.

moaner 12-25-2005 02:07 PM

nah, what with all this electrickery business we have ingenious ways of keeping our white wine cold. Fridges, fo example.

ADU Guitarist 12-25-2005 02:12 PM

It's 28 degrees here alright. 28 degrees Fahrenheit that is............snowed on Christmas morning though! that was nice to wake up to even though I'm sick.

Merry Christmas all!

Diatonic Dissonance™ 12-25-2005 10:56 PM

Mine was alright.

We celebrated on Christmas Eve 'cause we're Swiss - so I was up at my Uncle's with my family. That was fun.

Then on Christmas day my stepdad's family were around at our house. That wasn't bad 'cause I fell asleep from 2 until about 5:30 and then went to my dad's house at 6. :p.

Now I'm down to $50 :upset:

Diatonic Dissonance™ 12-25-2005 10:57 PM

That's $50 from $430 :-/.

Aes820 12-26-2005 12:39 AM

And watching the criket.

Trigger_003 12-26-2005 01:41 AM

Haha last time I checked hippies didn't do latin (or latin-style-metal as the case probably will be haha)

C'mon Gav, do I look like a hippie?

Diatonic Dissonance™ 12-26-2005 01:46 AM

Yes.

>_>

Trigger_003 12-26-2005 01:51 AM

:p

So what's on for tonight?

My gran's coming over in a bit. I'm surprised she wants to see us after we kept her up past midnight last night (took a few detours on the way home from the coast >_<).

Diatonic Dissonance™ 12-26-2005 02:03 AM

Nothing!

Trigger_003 12-26-2005 02:24 AM

Nice, nice.

S'pose you have to read MacBeth for next year too? If you do, what do you think of it (if you're in the minimal proportion of people who have actually started reading it so far)?

Diatonic Dissonance™ 12-26-2005 03:23 AM

I haven't started reading it yet :p.
