I'm Alex, I play guitar and sing for my band. I'm 24 and I'll hopefully graduate college in 1.5 years. I agree about Jam Session. I wish more people vistited here. I enjoy talking about band related stuff more than the stupid n00b questions in Guitar. Don't knock the Pit though, everyone needs a place to "put it in her butt." PS: community threads are so last week..j/k edit: Hey, Sonor, I'm sure someone asked you this before but, is that your kit in the avatar or a not-yet-realized-dream? |

Meh, this is my first post in the Jam Session. I'm no longer in a band, but i still write and play music on my own, maybe this forum'll help me improve.
My names Reddy, i'm 18. UK. First year university student, i play guitar and try to sing. I also write lyrics. I've been partly responsible for the closing of Community Threads in the past, so if i start spamming just give me a sign and i'll leave quickly. That's about it. Enjoy. |

My name is Chris. I'm 23 years old. I'm an Internet programmer. From Australia. I play guitar in a couple of bands, in which I write material for too. I have a strong interest and a decent amount of background in Live Audio applications, Electronics and some Recording. And a strong understanding of the concepts behind these fields. You got a question? Just ask. Last edited by Aes820; 01-07-2005 at 05:18 AM. |

I'm Harry(Luke), I'm 17 in 4 days.
I'm the vocalist for my band, Bandage These Hearts. I also drum, but not for any bands at the moment. I'm currently studying for a Btec Diploma in Music Technology at Leeds college of music. My equipment. Tascam 4242 MKIII Behringer MIC 200 Tube preamp Superlux DRK-A4 Mics A random German Condenser Mic I'm looking to get some more equipment soon, not quite sure what I want yet though. Does anyone know if you can repair the headphone output on a Tascam MFP01 fairly cheaply? I have an old one lying around and this is the only fault with it* The drummer in my band wants to get into recording so I've told him if he can get it fixed, he can have it for free so he can use it with something like a Behringer UB1202. * Me: "Tony, Whatever you do, Don't connect the headphone output into your amp input ok?" Tony: "Yeah Ok" /Me leaves /Me returns following week Tony: "Hey Harry, listen to this" /Tony connects the 4 track headphone output to the guitar input. /Headphone output dies /Tony repeats |

Some of these pics are from when she was BRAND spankin new and is set up single bass. Thats the beauty of this kit. I can set it up as a double kick kit, a 7 piece single, and even break it into 2 5 piece sets with the addition of one of my other snares. I am also have a PHENOMINAL hand made 14X8 100% Bubinga wood snare with brass hardware, double 45 degree angle bevels and low cast lugs being custom made for me as we speak! Why yes, yes it is of course. Can ya have a kit like that and not pimp it out?
hahaha K, a bit about myself. I am a drumming nut. Can't get enough of it. Im in my early 30's, and work as a Paramedic 10 days a month. The rest of the time I spend workin a second job for drum money or beatin up some skins or just hangin out. My band is Stagefright, were a cover band. Thats about it! |

hahaha I have to quit adding at a point. I have so many things I want to put with that kit. The cool thing is I don't have to set it all up at the same time, but if I want it it's there.
My next addition is another set of hats on a remote cable DW 9000 series hat stand! Can't wait till April! |

Ok, my name is Arkady and I intend to use my armies of penguins (led by field marshal Pingu) to take over the world. When I'm not planning your destruction, I play guitar and sing (and write songs for) a three piece punk set up called [Suicidal Ducklings. I also play bass, a little bit of drums, piano accordian and piano. I live near London, England. |
