Apart from the fact that it's kind of rough staying up till 3am for 4 nights in a row.
And watching cricket in the winter is, well, just not cricket.
 you crazy aussies |
Yeah. I figured that'll be the case. You are from Melbourne afterall, right?
Haha, exactly. And you are up in NSW, what we call the "rugby state" :p. Oh and fyi, rugby union and rugby league are the same to AFL fans  |
rugby union and rugby league are the same to AFL fans
 True, true.
Back to AFL, /goes for the dogs :upset: Then again, they were a bit of alright in the last few games. I definately prefer playing it to watching it though. |
Why are so many AFL players getting those Metrosexual hair cuts?
It is taking the masculinety out of the game. I like the days when it was seen as 'a game played by big men wearing little boys shorts'. |
I like big men wearing little boys shorts.
thanks for sharing. |
Yeah. No problem..
Sorry, I was just complaining about the image of the game as of recently. I fully support everyone getting in and enjoying the game for what it is. I got a call the other day. It was these people from where I used to work. Offering me a job. I told 'em I had found something else that I like and I turned it down. That was the first job I have ever turned down. But I really don't want it nor don't need it. It feels kind of empowering telling someone that you're not going to do it tho. In a weird way. |
Today I started my AS level courses, including music tech. The only thing we did was learn about logic which I already have so I didn't manage to do anything the whole lesson. Boring. And I also noticed there were no preamps in the racks. I wonder if music tech is taught without? :p
thanks for sharing.
I'm sure MX wouldn't approve. He says it's a disease. It's just a shame that the entire scientifical world disagrees. |

Unless they had a big big mackie mixer hidden in a drawer somewhere  |

I got a membership at the local gym last night, :thumb:
|
Awesome.
I'd join up with a gym but I don't really have the time to get there often :(. My daily mini workout is just usually something like 25 pushups, however many situps I feel like, and some other exercises that help for surfing. Hey Matt (if you still come here?), how's your working out going? Sorry Gav, won't be on msn til a lot later tonight. |
It's all good, I won't be on after 7-ish.
Here's what I do, for anyone that's interested: 30 minutes on cross-trainer. 30 minutes jogging on treadmil. 2x15 on vertical bench-press (40kg). 2x15 on leg-press (80kg). 2x15 chin-ups. 2x15 shoulder-press dumbells (7.5kg). 2x15 each-arm bicep curls (7.5kg). 2x15 row-machine weight thingy (weight unsure). 2x15 bench-press (weight unsure). 2x15 tricep exercises (hard to explain, 40kg). 2x15 two-hand standing bicep curls (weight unsure). 2x15 ab-roller sit-ups. 2x15 oblique sit-ups on ball. Various warm-down stretches. Plus, we (Mark and I go together) get free admission to the pool, so we'll swim laps to warm down. And yeah, we do that 2 times a week, but it will probably be three on holidays. |
Plus I ride there and back, :p.
Maybe 6-8km. |

For a second I thought you were saying 2x15minute sessions of chinups etc... |
Where's the bag work *****?
Hey, I know you! What's up, man? Anyway, there aren't any bags in the gym, but I've got one at home so it's all good,. Hey Aes, or americangothic, or whomever...
Any of you guys wouldn't happen to have any links or information on how to program the FCB 1010 floorboard? I'm getting one on thursday, but I need to use it on saturday, so it would be handy if I could learn how to use it before I sit and play around with it |
^ You can download the user manual off the Behringer website.
It's not the most fantastic manual. It doesn't explain everything. But it'll get you started. |
Aah, I was thinking about checking their site, but forgot.. haha.. Thank you!
|
Thanks for the bump Knifeboy :).
Does anyone know if the crackdown on up/downloading copyrighted material because of the case going on with Kazza? Or just because there's been loads of it going on? I'm not that fussed because I don't really do it, but I was just wondering. |

Hey Chris. What's up?

Doing work.. :( Working my way through miles of Dreamweaver's template parameter code. Yay! But it's pretty cool, I've got these template parameters that automatically build the sites Bread Crumbs and display optional areas, then set Classes to those areas. Then we're gonna get a contractor in to actually apply this template to the several thousand html files that we've got. Cause I'll be fuked if I'm gonna do it myself. Don't worry if you don't get what I'm talking about... It is after all just work. Am dissapointed about the Aussie Cricket team getting beaten by the English Weather. Looking forward to the footy finals tho. How are you? |

Yeah, sucks that the poms beat us, I didn't think they would, and I too are looking forward to seeing St Kilda beat everyone else, |
You gotta use Strong tags, not Bold tags.
And instead of using the Centre tag, use a Div tag and give it a centred position in the the style sheet. But yeah. It's pretty much my job. Or at least part of my job. I do lots of things, even tho I've only been working here where I am for only the last month and a bit. The Poms didn't beat us. The weather did (I'm still in denial). |
Haha.
What do you mean "strong tags"? |
