Tim Ensign was talking about this at the show tonight, I figured he was just being stupid.
|
I got the Casey Jones split with Traitor, have yet to listen to it.
Did you get a record player? |
They should be spectacular. There music has so much emotion and energy.
Haha, dude. Was that a joke? I hope so. You can't call 'screamo' bands emo. They just scream, no 'real' emotion in it. I call them hardcore. |
^^^ you are stupid. they scream out of emotion, the screams are an expression of emotion.
|
No they don't. Ever see a 'screamo' band collapse at a show?
Of course there's emotion, sincerity, etc, just no genuine raw emotion. ALL music is an expression of emotions. |
No they don't. Ever see a 'screamo' band collapse at a show?
I think it would be impossible to list all of the screamo bands that have collapsed/spased out/whatever at their shows. |
Haha, dude.
Was that a joke? I hope so. You can't call 'screamo' bands emo. They just scream, no 'real' emotion in it. I call them hardcore.
You are a faggot. In that post I didn't say anything that even had to do with the genres emo or screamo. So why are you getting all pissed off? I know it's your duty to inform the world that you are right about everything and that Hot Cross is a hardcore band, but that post had nothing to do with that. I said that their music had a lot of energy and emotion. Not emo, emotion. If you cannot sense the emotion in their music, you are a hypocritical idiot. And if you actually took the 3 seconds to scroll a couple posts above that, you would see that I labled FBTMOF as a hardcore/post-hardcore/metal band. Just like you did. So stop acting like an arrogant bastard because you booked shows for some screamo bands. You've gotten so caught up with technicality that you're starting to contradict yourself. |
Maybe you should've read the post I made after that.
|
All music has emotion. I got that. But FBTMOF has a little more raw emotion than other acts of music out there. Not enough to make them emo persay, but I said it would be a good show because of the higher level of emotion found in their music.

Fear Before The March Of Flames are on which label again?
|
Equal Vision
|
Did you get a record player?
My aunt is giving me one today.
|
Equal Vision
My point exactly. |
I wish both Equal Vision and Victory would have stayed more in the hardcore scene. Especially Equal Vision.
|
All you hardcore fans should get into HAYMAKER
F'cuking amazing |
My point exactly.
Hey asshole, I said they were hardcore before you did.
All you hardcore fans should get into HAYMAKER
I know. It's so awesome. |
I know. It's so awesome.
If you're talking about the album, I think she meant the band. |
My point exactly.
What does what label they're on have to do with the emotion in their music? |
If you're talking about the album, I think she meant the band.
Oh. :upset: |
What does what label they're on have to do with the emotion in their music?
Agreed. |
I definately meant the band
but apparently throwdowns album haymaker is good :) |
Haha, dude.
Was that a joke? I hope so. You can't call 'screamo' bands emo. They just scream, no 'real' emotion in it. I call them hardcore.
Haha, you totally owned yourself. |
I wish both Equal Vision and Victory would have stayed more in the hardcore scene. Especially Equal Vision.
No. Victory are a joke. Ads in **** mags etc. |
No.
Victory are a joke. Ads in **** mags etc.
I think you missed the point. Victory wasn't always commercialized and putting out poppy records to teenage girls. But whatever. |
Oh man, ads in magazines that you don't like to read? What were they thinking?!?! I mean, god forbid they try and get people to listen to their bands.
|
No dude, porn magazines. I didn't know it would censor ****.
Oh, well nevermind then. Maybe they are just trying to reach a larger audience? Middle aged men? |
Pretty ****ed up, huh?
Victory were never a favourite of mine, but when they started cashing in, people got pissed. |
