no clue man

malice was a marvel of awful production and tone
|
I like the guitar tone on Malice, though it's much better on their older material.

but where matthew are THE RIFFS ? and that artwork looks siqq |
Failure In The Flesh is the only song on there with ELITE riffs.
|
i still firmy believe the only quality output of this genre is the music that can barely be described as deathcore at all i.e. TTEOTD's first album which was actually more melodeath with juns than deathcore, as well as ASP's The Price of Existence which was, again, a TON of melodic leads with an unfortunately equivalent number of breakdowns
other than that... genre is boring. |
Cool story bro.
Are you talking about Bloodlust or their EP? Also, check out Heathen by Whisteria Cottage, Isolation by The End Of Six Thousand Years, To Whisper In Tongues by Rifles At Recess, Juggernaut by Knights Of The Abyss, and Ley Lines by Embrace The End. You might change your mind, idk. |
Rifles at Recess are so ****ing jawesome
|
Agreed.
|
sorry, meant bloodlust. i'll check those out, but generally, deathcore just gives me a bad vibe (completely unrelated as far as genres go, but Opeth just give me a bad vibe too :/)
|
Through The Eyes Of The Dead's EP and their split with The Knife Trade are infinitely better than Bloodlust. J.S.
As for Opeth, I liked everything they did up until and including Damnation, but I can understand how some people could find them boring. |
Too many effects on the vocals on bloodlust for my liking.
|
it's not their fault! they were just trying to be cool!

It sounds good for the highs and the mid-range, but they should've srsly taken the filters off his lows. I mean, his lows sound great on The Scars Of Ages and The Annihilation Of Expectation, but Bloodlust.... distortion ruins em. |
i have to admit, i hate it on that album when he mixes his voice with the warbly electronic effect
and, i didn't mean the album was a godsend, just a lot better than most of the deathcore i've heard |
Word.
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?2zmzzy2ldj1 Get this, it's their split with The Knife Trade, it ****ing rules. Definitely their best material. TTEOTD was my favorite band until they kicked out Anferny. :( |
the dude on malice's growls are pretty diesel too tbh
