lol you're still butthurt I find ctts mediocre
they're mediocre live they're mediocre on album me d io cre
 have you ever even seen ctts live? and more lols, you do realize there's more to music than showing off how fast and technical you can play? |
no I've never seen them man, I'm just GUESSING HERE
pretty sure ctts tries to be techincal, just like most sumeriancore thing is they're not actually enjoyable to listen to bands like VoM and ATB kinda are |
there's more to music than being enjoyable to listen to
|

pretty sure ctts tries to be techincal, just like most sumeriancore thing is they're not actually enjoyable to listen to bands like VoM and ATB kinda are
Okay, you're retarded. In all honesty, Circle Takes The Square has put out some of the best music of the past decade, and actually forged their own sound within the screamo genre. Veil Of Maya didn't do much but mix generic melodic death metal with Meshuggah, albeit I enjoy them, they're nothing very stand out. After The Burial just sounds like ****. They have okay riffs here and there, but overall they're extremely cheesy, have too many breakdowns, and have awful vocals. |
screamo sucks
Veil of Maya has a few great tracks, overall nothing more than a 3.5/5 same with ATB they're both catchy and enjoyable at times/live ctts is neither |
After the Burial is pretty sweet.
|
some one with more time on their hands than me needs to make an xtranormal out of the past page
|
not I sir
|
screamo sucks
you're so dumb lol
Veil of Maya has a few great tracks, overall nothing more than a 3.5/5 same with ATB they're both catchy and enjoyable at times/live
ATB isn't good at all, stop lying to yourself.
ctts is neither
 Once more, Circle Takes The Square is actually good. |
I've never given CTTS a proper listen, where should I start?
I wanna be in on this rampage |
as the roots undo
|
Then get their split with Pg. 99 and their S/T.
Their entire discography is awesome, the split with Pg. 99 being their best two songs tbh. |
seriously something wrong with adb
he is actually, just for the sake of being a tool and disagreeing with people, trying to claim ctts sucks it's not even relevant to his position (which is that VoM and AtB are good, i guess) but rather hurting his own points, by proving undeniably that he has no clue whatsoever when it comes to music, period. how one person can be that stupidly counteractive is beyond me. what has the internet come to |
I have no clue. And I love VOM, but I just think it's funny this kid can actually defend bands like Born Of Osiris and After The Burial.
|
well, both are considerably better than ABACABB, mapz :)
|
ABACABB is the one that doesn't actually stand for anything right
|
yeah, it's a console cheat code, where you press buttons A B A C A B and B
|
well, both are considerably better than ABACABB, mapz :)
IDK, ABACABB doesn't really try super hard, they're just kind of playing heavy meathead metal, which I don't mind when I'm drunk. |
well tbh for me Born of Osiris was one of the first metal/core bands I got into, so I'm biased toward The New Reign. Most of A Higher Place is garbage, but still.
and I enjoy After the Burial for what it is: Meshuggahcore. A few tracks of theirs are definitely solid, and they were sweet dudes when I interviewed them. I was never blown away by VOM frankly but it's not bad stuff, some of The Common Man's Collapse is enjoyable ABACABB is .. uh yeah meathead metal is a good description |
I enjoy Brace Legs and Open Arms to Damnation. After that, it's meh.
I enjoy Aspirations and Ometh. After that, it's meh. I enjoy Mark My Words and Your World of Lies. After that, it's meh. I don't enjoy ABACABB. |
BOO: Empires Erased, Open Arms, Rosecrance, Live Like I'm Real, A Descent
ATB: Aspirations, Ometh, A Vicious Reforming of Features, Fingers Like Daggers |
no love for Brace Legs. that sh*t brings the mosh HARDTIMMMEESS
(lol) |
lol nah I like Brace Legs
but like I said I'm biased towards that whole album. even though Bow Down is total throwaway nonsense. other than that most of the tracks are at least likable. The Takeover and The New Reign are tied for second worst probably |
ATB: forging a future self is a good record with only a few weak tracks. nothing outstanding, but it's good. and aspiration/cursing akenaten are good, the rest of rareform isn't that great though.
BoO: open arms and 0:55-1:22 in abstract art. veil of maya is better than both. |
Ometh has to be considered better than Cursing Akenaten man.. come on..
|
yeah dude it's the happiest guitar solo since freebird
|
srs bzniz
|
cursing akenaten the first time i saw them live was amazing and i can't even remember what ometh sounds like so
|
ometh brings the C# Major shred hardxcore
|
xhappyxshredxcore
|
super happy storytime land
|
just listened to Mark My Words, song kicksass
|
Veil of Maya and After the Burial take dumps on BOO simultaneously
|
kinda gay, brah
|
figuratively speaking, don't you agree?
|
i've actually never listened to After the Burial:o
|
well look at you
sittin in a tower of judgment on a throne of assumptions ..meh you should give em a listen |
they worth a few listens
but they're nothing special |
BOO: Most of New Reign, Most of A Higher Place
ATB: Cursing Aketherlierjal;sfj, Berzerker, Aspirations, couple others Veil of Maya: Crawl Back, Its not safe to swim today, We Bow in its Aura, couple others |
