Isis/Pig Destroyer Isis/Pig Destroyer (Split)
I enjoyed the Isis song and the tribute it gives to the original. Pig Destroyer however is a band I have never been able to get into, and these two tracks don't do anything to change my opinion on their music. Not sure this split really works with these two bands.		2.0

Nospun Opus
For a debut album this is a very solid attempt and offers plenty of chances for growth and
things to keep working on for future releases. Definitely offers an interesting concept. I'm
not sure it really holds up entirely across the album, and I am not a big fan of the whole
story concept across an album as I prefer to listen to music on shuffle most the time ... so
the concept gets lost a little unless you are listening to the whole album. There are
influences of Dream Theater, Periphery, Devin Townsend and Caligula's Horse throughout the
album, so if you like those sort of bands give this a spu		3.5

Blanket Ceremonia
A meddling album that doesn't really hit any great highs for me ... a lot of the songs you are waiting for the build-up to only leave disappointed. If you prefer the more shoegaze sound it may suit you, but for me it was "meh".		2.5

Balmora/Since My Beloved Six Pacts Etched In Blood
I couldn't listen to the Balmora tracks ... vocals were terrible, and the production was abysmal. The Since My Beloved tracks had decent production and the vocals were better ... but overall neither of these band delivers anything of note. Skip!		1.5

The Plot In You Vol. 2
Lots of anger / angst in the vocals for Don't Look Away, with Closure a slow burn song opening the EP and finishing with All That I Can Give which is probably more in the vain of standard metalcore. The melody throughout the EP is solid and the vocals are top notched ... really just leaves you wanting more.		3.0

The Plot In You Vol. 1
Divide is a solid track, Left Behind is not really my cup of tea and Forgotten is a banger ... gives me very strong King 810 vibe (especially the chorus and chords).		2.5
