thats easily the most 00s in flames sounding song of all the halo effect tracks so far, really nice dual guitar melodies.

This was my 2022 album of the year, but it could have used this song.

People totally liked the album. Seemed to be plenty of hype around it. I personally thought it was just ok and kind of forgettable. Really haven’t revisited it. In theory I should love it but it just felt a little too safe, polished and middle of the road for me, idk. That might’ve been its intention. I wish there were more guitar lead work. Wanted to like it more than I did given Mikael Stanne is a hero, DT is my absolute favorite band and I dig early In Flames just fine.

This feels like it could have come directly from the early to mid 2000s era of melodic death metal. It's kinda nostalgic and cool but I feel like the genre has evolved a lot since then.

I'm such a sucker for anything that sounds like old In Flames, I don't even care that this has been done a million times before. Give me all the harmonized guitar melodies and string-skipping riffs.
