Feels like the sound on Altogether but pushed even further. Not really my thing, but I'm happy they're continuing to try new things.

Nah, it is way better than Altogether. At least the songs are somewhat well structured, and pretty long.

I guess this is what happens when you haven't checked anything since Peripheral Vision..

At this point all I want is groovy jams from this band, and they deliver. Pointless in expecting another PV. Can’t wait to get high to this album lol

at this point, I wish PV never existed since that horse has long been beaten to death.

the chorus is almost good but the vocals collide with the instrumental in a way that sounds jarring, chord changes are too direct

the older i get the less i can tolerate a band having an 'aesthetic' like this.

we get it, VHS and the 90s and shit. lol

peripheral vision and good nature are solid, but i fell off after those

"people are just mad that they're not making peripheral vision 2!!!1!!!1!" no we're mad that this band have fully committed to making elevator music when we all know they're capable of so much more.

seems clear they’re admitting they no longer possess the ability to make interesting music if they’re resorting to excessive autotune and synth

His cutesy voice is getting really annoying. It worked on PV due to the emo nature of the album but this is just whack. Not sure who this music is for.

are they though? Making great music consistently is extremely difficult in reality. Just one great album (Peripheral Vision) is more than the vast majority of musicians will ever achieve

people would’ve hated a PV2 lmfao. this is just how it goes: release a classic then try and recreate and get shit on, or switch the formula up to avoid getting shit on and get shit on anyway

get a grip lads some of u legitimately sound like fucking babies
