Tombs announce new album

Brooklyn black metal formation Tombs are now announcing the release of a brand new album, Under Sullen Skies. The record is set for worldwide release on November 20th, via Season of Mist. The album was recorded and mixed at Fright Box Studios, Clifton, NJ, USA.

Mastering/Producer/Sound Engineer: Bobby Torres

The first track 'Barren' can be streamed below.

Mike Hill comments: "The album's title came during all this and the sort of post-apocalyptic world we’re living in. It encapsulates an overall feeling of gloom and depression which is pretty much how we’ve been living for most of this year. The title was the last piece to fall into place. I remember standing on the roof of the building I was living in at the time on a grey day and it was raining – actually, it wasn't even raining; it was a half-assed attempt at rain! – and depressing and I just thought, ‘What a sullen sky’ and it just stuck with me."

3. Barren (05:31)

Only heard Winter Hours from them but I dig it. Especially the track Beneath the Toxic Jungle. This sounds decent. Need to find more with the vibe of the song I mentioned above though
