I really hate this song
| |
oh boy
| |
Can't wait to hear their take on this song.
I'm curious how much it's gonna suck
| |
A lot.
It sucks a lot.
| |
It didn't disappoint. It sucked even harder than I expected. You can always count on Matt's vocals
| |
i really dont get it
| |
cover a different gotye song, cowards
| |
Boring, really boring
| |
Who is still listening to this band?
| |
Well, I just did, but now I stopped and the world seems more colourful
| |
Sounded like a modern hard rock version of that song yep. Didn't find it particularly offensive or awful or anything, is what it is.
| |
Well, if disturbed s take on sound of silence can be a hit, then I guess this can too. It's a strange world
| |
Yeah I don’t think this is offensively bad or anything, but it did what I feared it would which is just being bland and lacking in any kind of bite that would make a cover like this interesting
edit: I do hate that Disturbed cover tho. Yuck.
| |
I audibly said "yikes" involuntarily after reading this headline. Chorus is adequate but the guy's voice during the verse is creeping me out.
| |
poopoo caca
| |
Oh God, when is this band going to die?? Matt's vocals suck big floppy llama cock.
| |
matt is horrible
| |
fucking holy mother of shit
| |
This song becomes cheesy and tiresome in the wrong hands.
| |
I never liked the guitar sound in their newer stuff, but the vocals always make me cringe. Matt's facial expressions aren't helping either
| |
Never thought I'd be here missing Adam Gontier, but here we are.
| |
I heard the kids love this song
| |
Instrumentally I thought this was a cool cover. Not digging the vocals. He's using a wobbly vocal effect that doesn't work for him at all.
| |
Terrible song made even more terrible
| |
Way to strip the charm from a song and then shit all over it.
"Know what this nice little pop song needs? Power chords. That'll impress people!"
| |
Exactly. I really like the original tbh.
| |
Yikes this is rough to listen to.
I don't think Walst is an awful singer but this song is just not in his wheelhouse.
Gontier may have been able to make this song work, but I don't even know if that would still make this worthwhile. Who was really asking for a cover of Somebody That I Used To Know?
| |
Isn't the main appeal of the original xylophone, the vocal style, and the feature?
This cover strips all of those in favor of generic crybaby alt rock :|
| |
Three Days Grace moar liek A Band That I Used To Know
| |
Jesus this is embarrasing.
| |
are these guys still going? i just assumed they'd have disbanded and ended up working in gas stations/rehab clinics by now.
| |
lets start a riot a riot lets srart a riot a riot
| |
This is boring as shit.
I did like their cover of Phantogram's "You Don't Get Me High Anymore", though.
| |
What if they actually covered a different Gotye song lol
| |
No such thing
| |
great song choice to cover
| |
Exactly what the world needed. A Three Days Grace cover of Gotye. How great is our god
| |
Another reason to abandon Christianity
