That would be sick, California rules.

Wait, so there's no Trey Spruance in this line up?
| |
Spruance is there too. Seen some photos of him and Ian in the studio.
| |
I used to be in the camp of "don't record after the perfect swan song of California", but fuck it, let's hear new Mike Patton music
| |
Darius... shhhhhhh :'¬} we don't want to feed destiny with negative energy so it will actually end up bad (or not even happen) hjehjehje
| |
@Zig ah, good times. Not sure how I feel about this happening, but I'll sure as hell listen to anything they drop
| |
who unbanned me
| |
I think this has the potential to be great. Trey Spruance has been making incredible music with SC3 for years during/after Bungle. Mike Patton with his myriad of projects as well. I hope Trevor Dunn will be there on bass.
| |
The last FNM release was pretty hit and miss. I hope they deliver on this one if the rumors are true, though.
| |
if i had to guess they're recording studio vers of raging wrath, orrr a crossover thrash album
| |
Johnnyofthewell, there's a name on the mixing board that says Trey.
| |
Ah cool well I won't set ridiculous expectations, hopefully it is it's own thing, not too nostalgic
| |
will not. thrash bungle lives
| |
bet
| |
I would wager this is just them mixing the recordings from their recent run of live shows, considering some songs from the set were songs they never recorded -- plus, to me, this is probably the only Bungle reunion we're ever likely to see.
| |
"this is probably the only Bungle reunion we're ever likely to see."

| |
Hmm yeah okay
| |
Tool still hasn't announced who they're touring with for this next US leg. I'm quietly optimistic it's Mr. Bungle.
| |
hardly they'll release new material but i like the idea of having a live album from these shows.
| |
Gonna be better than California. Calling it now.
| |
I feel like it won't be good, but if it is that's cool
| |
they coulda just banged out some thrash tracks real quick, not like that music's very complicated.
| |
I mean it depends, are we talking about Anthrax or are we talking about Watchtower
| |
with Ian onboard i'm thinking more just old Bungle-style simple goofy thrash. Not like they couldn't bang out an EP like that in a week just goofing around.

What's weird these days? Can bungle even bungle the current milieu
| |
god i hope not
| |
"Johnnyofthewell, there's a name on the mixing board that says Trey."
that's obviously Trey Anastasio
