Hated it at first but it's growing on me. Guitar riff is way too repetitive tho, even for the 1975. Mixing is kinda shot as well but the chorus is catchy.

I'm quite a fan of The 1975, but I honestly can't get into this one. Pretty repetitive and directionless most of the time, nothing special. Hopefully what they release later will be more interesting.

I think the song is catchy and fun, which given the band its from, is all i expected and wanted.

The video comes off as pretentious and the guitar tone really is grating. Certainly going to need more from this album, this song is simple and catchy but it's also not very good.

I hate it when a band says their album is going to be their equivalent of *insert highly acclaimed album here*. It's pretentious as all hell and you can almost guarantee that it's either going to be painfully average or absolutely atrocious.

I actually enjoy much of the framework of this track: production, verses, tone, but damn everything else is so unmemorable. Like its striving to be blissful but does so in such a grating manner.

Man I don’t think this is bad, it’s a very freaky type of pop and I love that kind of pop.

Holy balls that was obnoxious and horrible. The guitar tone was so bad I couldn't even get through it on the first listen, and the lyrics are pretentious millennial BS. And I actually dug some of their earlier singles. They must have their heads deeply entrenched in their asses to think this is on par with OK Computer.

Probably the worst single they've ever dropped and the worst single of the year. The song has zero build, the vocals have no variation or power, the production is hollow, the lyrics are shit, and the guitar sounds like someone in a music store playing his best attempt at Sweet Child Of Mine on a $150 Squire Strat with preset distortion. And why is it so fucking high in the mix. And why doesn't it change.

From someone who really doesn't like this band....this hasn't changed a thing. I'll admit that there is a good song buried in here somewhere but that riff just screeches along, there is zero build so it feels like it just flatlines, and the lyrics and melody sounds like they're drunk and dizzy.

There are many reasons to bash this, but that's simply put this is my main beef with the composition, then when coupled with how awful that riff actually sounds the result is predictably awful.
