Great. It reminds me of stuff off of Angel Dust. There's such a sense of doom surrounding their new material. It seems like the prospect of this being the end really served as an inspiration for them.

Yea Pleb, still surprised people expect DEP songs to click on the first or second listen. Tbh on the first listen it did sound like they were trying too hard maybe because of the time signature changes on a song with a slower tempo, but the chorus caught me right away. However, I listened to it again, and again, and then again. Still haven't stopped listening lol. This song definitely has a progressive vibe to it, while Limerent Death is just nonstop energy.

It's definitely more melodic and Dillinger have proven they can slow things down when they want to.
Song is actually bleak af lyrically, almost like an epitaph for the band itself which would be fitting.
