The Darcys are now a duo

On December 17th, Canadian art-rock band the Darcys announced that their guitarist Mike le Riche and bassist Dave Hurlow had left the band and the remaining founding members singer/guitarist Jason Couse and drummer Wes Marskell will be carrying on as a duo.

this news is good and bad because they originally planned on only making three albums. band deserves more attention on this site.

Well Couse and Marskell are more or less the main creative force, so I wouldn't be too concerned about the quality of their output. I'm just happy they decided to keep the band going and not split up, I love what they do.

I'd be disappointed if they only put out three albums, they're one of the most interesting shoegaze bands out there.
