Willie 02.21.12	iPad (check the refurb area of the apple store website) or Kindle Fire. The Fire looks cool, but I don't know how much computer-style stuff it does or if it is more of a content using thing.

They are entertainment playthings that can do basic productive tasks but that's about it. If you're looking for it to do something worthwhile just get a netbook.

PayneTiger777 02.21.12	I don't have a smartphone. My cellphone is literally from the late 90's. Kindle Fire and Asus Transformer look pretty cool, although I'm also looking at the Le Pan II.

It also has a decent version of photoshop on it, for most my photo editing stuff (but obviously not all of it). Also, there are a few cool video editing apps on it too. Other than that, the e-mail is fine, the internet works great, and netflix kicks ass ;)

Tyrannic 02.21.12	kindle fire's more of a reader, it won't be as good as the asus. iPads are hella useful though, my poli-sci friend got one and loved it (and he's a tech geek...)
North0House2 02.21.12	There's a new Linux tablet coming out called like Plasma or something. It looks pretty cool. I'd only get one with Linux on it, since it's all I run anymore. It'll be like 200 bucks.
