| Eric Clapton And Roger Daltrey Setlists
Saw Clapton wsg. Daltrey tonight at DTE Energy Music Theater. Daltrey did a lot of Who stuff and was amazing as an opener. I'm not really that into Eric Clapton, and he only played two Cream songs. He was also the only guitarist in his band, which is strange. But they had a piano and an organ that would do dueling solos. Overall, it was pretty fun. | 1 | The Who I Can See For Miles | 2 | The Real Me | 3 | Roger Daltrey Days of Light | 4 | Taj Mahal Freedom Ride | 5 | The Who Real Good Looking Boy | 6 | Who Are You | 7 | Going Mobile | 8 | Behind Blue Eyes | 9 | Young Man Blues | 10 | Baba O'Riley | 11 | Derek & the Dominoes Key to the Highway | 12 | Tell the Truth | 13 | Eric Clapton I Shot the Sheriff | 14 | Derek & the Dominoes Nobody Knows You When You're Down and Out | 15 | Layla (unplugged) | 16 | Cream Badge | 17 | Eric Clapton Wonderful Tonight | 18 | Cocaine | 19 | Cream Crossroads | 20 | A bunch of blues songs that sounded the same | |

07.04.10 | that'd be a sweeeeeeet show | EVedder27
07.04.10 | siiick, although I hate 13 as a song (but love clapton).
How was The Real Me musically? Cause honestly I can't imagine it being anything like the original without Moon and Entwistle. | AnotherBrick
07.04.10 | i'm with you on the hate for 13 veds | EVedder27
07.04.10 | its a bob marley song anyway, but I would never cover it for the life of me | HenchmanOfSanta
07.04.10 | I hate I Shot the Sheriff too, but it was really good live actually. Most of the big hits had extended jams that were really good (especially Badge).
Daltrey's bassist played Entwistle's line note for note. The drummer was no Keith Moon, but he was able to keep the beat of the song without going crazy, which is difficult.
Also, Daltrey's rhythm guitarist is Pete Townshend's brother Simon, who sang on Going Mobile. |
