04.17.10 | Karnivool is good. Check out Themata for a hard rock sound and Sound Awake for a more progressive sound. Both albums are good, depends on your preferences. |

04.17.10 | The Fall of Troy: Doppelgänger
The Flaming Lips: Clouds Taste Metallic, The Soft Bulletin and Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots are their best.. I'd go for The Soft Bulletin first
Pavement: Get all eventually but start with Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain
Merzbow: Probably 1930 but he has so many releases out.. I dont really like him though
Ramellzee: Who? I just know a hip hop act thats remotely called like that
Karnivool: Just two albums, so I'd get both.. both are equally great imo, but I'd start with Themata
Kowloon Walled City: They just got one album (and one EP) out, so yeah, get Gambling on the Richter Scale
Big Business: Here Come the Waterworks (at least its not the 2009 one, you should be fine)
The Raconteurs: Consolers of the Lonely is superior to their first release in every way so get that one
The Black Keys: Rubber Factory
Perry Farrell: Song Yet to Be Sung, since its his only album released afaik
Jungle Rot (what an original name btw): ehm, I'd start with Dead and Buried or Slaughter the Weak
Suffocation: their debut Effigy of the Forgotten or Pierced From Within
Tardy Brothers: has to be Bloodline right? not really a necessity to listen to this though

04.18.10 | Merzbow has without a doubt the best albums. It's a simple matter of probability. If you release over 50 albums a year one of them HAS to be good. Now if you keep doing this for 20 years you now have 20 good albums.
2 is amazing
3 also amazing. Others aren't great or I haven't listened to. |
Dylan620
04.19.10 | 6 hell yes, 9 are pretty good. Don't know the others, though I like Jane's Addiction (fronted by 11). |
