09.25.20 | I mean itâs not that much on their list is bad itâs just such a âboomerâ (yeah yeah dumb meme but itâs genuinely descriptive here) perspective on music and their choices/rankings of newer stuff donât feel genuine. Though fwiw the list is a bit better than usual, ever so slightly more diverse even if the motives are probably disingenuous (Marvin Gaye at #1 seems virtue signaling/trying to be relevant to 2020) and at least there arenât like 4 Beatles albums in the top 10 anymore lol. |

Unless they were intentionally excluding poc and women on the old lists (which I highly doubt they were cause why would they) then the new list seems pretty disingenuous |
