Wildhoney 02.05.18	awesome so far, thanks dude. did you like Before the Storm? seems like I loved it a whole lot more than everyone else did... in some ways it struck an even stronger chord with me than the original. damn I'm so excited for the farewell episode.

po0ty 02.05.18	I loved BtS until the last half of episode 3. Seems like they ran out of time or money and had to rush the ending. Some of the voice acting was also..not that great. Ignoring that though it was a great prequel and very much in the spirit of the original. I liked Rachel way more than I expected which makes her fate even more tragic.
Wildhoney 02.05.18	thanks plane. I will... try to process that, lol. Pooty, I get what you mean about the voice acting, I thought a few characters often spoke annoyingly sloooowly. And I would have liked to see more of Chloe & Rachel in the third episode, and yes, a little more substance in the last half. But damn, I just love how they portrayed Chloe's grieving process, and all of the symbolism and motifs strung throughout (theater, fire, etc.). If the Farewell episode really is the last episode with these characters, I'm gonna get fucking depressed

Veldin 02.05.18	One awesome weekend when my partner and I had complete free time, we played this game, but we stopped in the middle of episode 4 out of 5. Really need to finish it
po0ty 02.05.18	@Veldin without giving anything away ep4 is when the story goes from intriguing to holy fucking shit, you should finish it @Wild LiS 2 is confirmed to be new characters, so unless theres a BtS season 2 it seems likely Farewell is the last we'll see of Arcadia Bay. My main gripe with the voices comes from Rachels parents, they sounded so robotic. Chloe's new voice was great imo and so was Rachels. Really wish they focused on their relationship instead of the weird search for Sera but I guess they felt they needed some extra drama for the plot. Would have liked to see the scenes from the end montage in the actual episode instead of weird scenes like the Eliot scene and the fight with Damon. Maybe have Chloe find out Rachel is Sera's daughter then choose whether or not to tell her? Regardless, the great moments really outshined the bad ones overall. The Tempest was one of my favorite scenes in both games and the dream sequences were really well done.
