While many people use the term synonymously, a university is slightly different, being (as I understand it) an institution which contains multiple schools/colleges, usually both undergrad and graduate. But here, no one says, "I go to university", and when they say "I go to college" they are referring only to being an undergraduate.

Even with the common app, this whole thing takes an eternity.What especially sucks cock is when you have to do those supplementary essays in addition to the common app ones. Honestly its arguably the hardest college assignment you will have. oh and financial aid should be the very first thing to evaluate once you get your acceptances back. I've heard of horror stories where people applied ED without reading the fine print for expenses
