Stereochrome1 05.20.17	The system is fucked. The president is fucked. The caustic social divide is fucked. That's what our album is about. It's a concept record that follows a semi-dystopian story with some similar characters to Trump. So in essence this song is directly at Trump and the system that allowed him to be elected.

hal1ax 05.20.17	well, i think a lot of the old punk anti-establishment rhetoric was being voiced by somewhat of an outnumbered counter-culture, whereas today, promulgating anti-trump discourse is nearly ubiquitous, especially among the more prominent and outspoken individual's; you hear it among movie//tv celebrities, musicians, etc. etc. I'm not saying this opinion is wrong, or that modern political critique has become impotent or something, it just doesn't feel all that interesting anymore.

butcherboy 05.21.17	well no, okay, so as to not be a total prick - it's a decent enough stab at radio rock.. vocals don't work for me, but I never like that kind of clipped pitch in male vocals.. the atmospheric breakdown could have been the best part of the song, but isn't cracking enough.. i don't know, I like that it's spacey, but it's muse spacey and not ziggy stardust or spiritualized spacey.. all that said, last time I recorded, it was garage punk passed through a tin can, so our aesthetics tastes are obviously polar opposites.. keep doing what you're doing, all the world's a critic.
