Writers Wanted: Q2 Infinite Playlist 2016

For the second time in a row, it's been a year since our last Infinite Playlist bonanza. We're back and better than ever this time around, so get ready for a #content experience you'll never forget! If you haven't yet experienced the maelstrom of good ass music that is the Infinite Playlist, don't really remember what it's all about, or just like reading logistical posts, here's the lowdown. (All info is "adapted" (copy-pasted) from last year's list, which was "adapted" (copy-pasted) from the year before's. Sue me.)
1Ariana Grande
Dangerous Woman

Choose a song released in April, May, or June 2016. Post your selection below so
we can avoid repeats. Ideally, we'd want a good mix of stuff in terms of exposure -
if you want to write something about the new Radiohead or Thrice, that's awesome, but if you know a song that you think should have way more exposure slash if you want to revel in your innate musical superiority by choosing something lesser-known, that's rad as well. For context, I'll probably write something about Ariana Grande or Richie Brains (or maybe both). Basically, write whatever you want, but it's not much fun if half the list has been on the Trending Albums page for the past three months.

Find a high-quality YouTube, SoundCloud, or Bandcamp link of the song. A legal stream is very much preferable, so if you can find two YouTube links and one is ostensibly from the artist's or label's channel, go with that one. (Obviously, not everything is going to be streamable, so let me know if finding a link presents an issue and we can work something out.)

Describe the song in 5-10 sentences. How you write your description is up to you:
it can be funny, serious, evocative, otherworldly, whatever. Just describe the song
as best you can. The 5-10 sentence stipulation is more a guideline than a hard limit. If you can't think of more than three or four sentences, that's fine. If you can't fit your description into fewer than thirteen or fourteen, that's fine as well. However, if you send me a sentence-long blurb or a 1500-word one, chances are I'll ask you to revise.

In your submission email, order your information like so: "Song Title" by (insert
artist(s) here), blurb/description, album/EP/single name and release date, your username.
REMEMBER: SECOND QUARTER OF 2016 ONLY. If there are some case-by-case
issues you'd like to sort out, let me know via comment here, shoutbox, or email.
Resolutions to some issues I can think of off the top of my head: if the single was
released in a different quarter but the album it's featured on was released this
quarter, that's fine. If the song was/is going to be released this quarter but the
album will be released sometime later, that's also fine.

Everything's Beautiful

That's pretty much it. I'll keep y'all updated on the status of submissions via
various means, and hopefully we'll have enough by the end of the month. Here's the
kicker: I really want this to be a learning opportunity for people who are a little
self-conscious about their writing. If I think a submission could use some work
before being published (and/or if you'd specifically like me to give some feedback on
your work), I will respond to your submission with some minor editing ideas that
could make your piece better. It's up to you to resubmit - the process should go on
until I deem the product fit to publish, and hopefully we'll both gain something from
the editing. I'm going to try my best not to cut anything, and if y'all are willing to work with me that won't have to happen. Good luck, and I hope to see some quality submissions!
