I like singers who have a pretty calm voice but can really crank it up when they need to. Not really looking for hardcore stuff but i'm open to it. Stuff similiar to the list
Haven't heard Self Defense Family or Alanis Morissette, I'll have to check em out.
I have a strange relationship with Bjork and Animal Collective. I like what I've heard but never really go back to them.
The National is one of my favs.
