05.09.14 | Kanye West is a great Hip-Hop artist, but best rapper?? A lot of my faves here though, always good to see Doom popping up |
PaddyPooHead
05.09.14 | Yeah well like I said in the description it's not who I necessarily think is the most gifted rapper, simply my favourite. Kanye West is currently in the midst of one the best album streaks in history (imo) so he's my favourite. There's guys that are far more gifted rappers than him like Ras Kass or Canibus, but who are nowhere close to being my favourite. |

05.09.14 | Also..
Rakim
Big Pun
Ghostface Killah
Jay Electronica
Slick Rick
Mike Skinner
|

05.09.14 | Fair enough and yeah even 808s wasn't THAT bad |
PaddyPooHead
05.09.14 | 808s has grown on me big time, I actually think it's awesome. |
PaddyPooHead
05.09.14 | And yeah I'm at least aware of the greatness of some of those guys, just haven't explored them enough to call them my favourite. Was close to including Dizzee Rascal just because of Boy in da Corner but he's put out so much shit since I just couldn't. |
lou1000
05.09.14 | Even though he puts out trash nowadays Dizzee has top tier flow so would have been understandable. Also I don't get why so
many people on this site hate Yeezus, so much energy and attitude coupled with amazing production. |
PaddyPooHead
05.09.14 | It's split opinion in general to be fair, at least non professional opinion. I really enjoy it but I gotta admit, as much as I enjoy the production a lot of the lyrics are fairly trash (not all of them). I think it's a wasted opportunity, if the lyrics were up to the standard of MBDTF I think we would have had an absolute classic on our hands, as it stands it's merely very good. |
TylerLamberg
05.09.14 | You even dug Yeezus?
EDIT: nevermind you already answered that lol I really wanted to like that album but I couldn't get into it at all, save 2 songs. |

05.25.14 | What the..? No greatest rappers of all time list should have Eminem outside the top 5, Kanye West within the top 10, and no Big Pun or Biggie to boot. I mean, half of Jay Zs rhymes are Biggies anyways! |
Keyblade
