You're pretty much forced to use 1 method of approach instead of having the freedom of doing anything to complete your mission.
MO 01.01.13	it's awesome, the only game i've ever platinumed, and I could give two shits about platinuming games heh people are just pissing and moaning that it's more story driven' and linear, which i'll agree with to an extent since it's always been a small franchise and in order for it to really gain some ground fanbase wise they needed to have a constant narrative also they made it a lot more difficult in the sense that in past hitman games you were able to get a disguise and literally stand in plain sight of all enemies and no one was the wiser, like at all, no joke no one would suspect you, it was a insanely easy. this time around the disguise system is tweaked where they will catch onto you a lot faster

It's typical and pedantic. But hey, you claim to have played everything Pre-FF13 and say that everything Post-9 is shit. Let me dissect that. FF2 introducted stat-grinding, which was so ultimately broken you could hit yourself to max everything, not forgetting that magic was damn near left out of that process. There was hardly any dialogue or coherent righting in the game, and when any of the two did appear, it was dull. 3 didn't even have a proper release until the DS, far after 5 had released, overshadowing and out-doing 3's job system ten-fold. Both had the same cookie-cutter heroes of light, protect the crystals, etc, stories. You say those were good but 10, 12, and 13 weren't? I'll admit that 12 and 13 lacked in the gameplay department (gambit system in the former, linearity in the latter), more so the latter, but come on. The writing was fantastic in all of them. Should I go on?

I enjoyed the paradigm switching to a pretty good extent at first. Starting out a battle with one person on (ravager) offense and two others buffing/debuffing, then switching to an all-out assault to make use of said buffs/debuffs and prior chaining was fun. After a while, though, it just lost the appeal to me. It was the same in 13-2. The battles just seemed so mindless, in a way. Just keep yourself alive, keep that chain gauge up, then you win. By the time I was going to fight the final boss, I felt as if I were straining myself through the battles just to finish the game. It may have just been me.

LowStandards 01.03.13	13-2 is a lot better, I think. I still own it on my 360, but I haven't had the time to beat it. There's a monster recruitment system like 10-2, and there's a linear ish skill/class progression system that adds a little bit more to the game. It's definitely less linear, and the story seems to be pretty interesting despite the time travel gimmick. tl;dr if you like 13, yea, I think you'll like 13-2 as well

dawija1017 01.04.13	Lots of casuals arguing on here, EH HEM winrar, lowstandards EH HEMMM... I def recommend Demon's Souls... even FF13 just for the mid-end game...the beginning is a serious drag with a ball-bustingly shitty story line and a horribly linear path ... but once you get to Cocoon, the freedom really opens up with lots of side quests and hunts that, in my opinion, make the 12-15 hours of painfully bland beginning worth it

However, you still insulted me, i don't know if u recall since u deleted the comment, but "faggot" is not criticism "I've seen older posts of yours that are blatant insulting other's tastes in things," I used to criticize and insult people all the time on this site, and it lead to a point where people were frustrated with me, Only recently have i stopped that and decided to adopt a more friendly tone when i wish to criticize others. This doesn't apply to some users though and ill call them shitcunts whenever i like because they know i'm not serious. It does seem very ironic that someone like me who constantly trashtalks here is upset that someone is trashtalking him and i do see where you are coming from. However, Winrar is never serious when he's insulting others because he loves everyone on this site, even progmaster who apparently left this site and probably hates me.

Winrar 01.04.13	I liked GEN IV because it made more useless pokemon viable (introduced physical/special attacks) Gen IV was slightly more unbalanced than 3 (which was my favourite gen) but i like newer generation of pokemon because the more newer pokemon added, the more team combinations and strategies u can build.
TheNexus100 01.04.13	gen iv added more rpg elements, yeah the linear game itself, pokemon lore, map, laughable amount of legendaries ruined it hard. 1st 2 pokemon games are incredible engrossing and to the point, newer gens keep introducing new gay pokemon and the 1 player linear game sucks now
Winrar 01.04.13	Oh, the single player experience would never amount to how it was back in the older generations. However, kids these days who play Gen V are in for a treat; The cities actually look like cities, not 5 houses on a screen and trading is done so much easier through wi-fi and such. The newer pokemon games actually implement a story with a plot, and whether this may turn you off, i like this idea because any story is better than none.

Winrar 01.04.13	I personally do not like Black & White. Gen III added so much stuff like abilities. Gengar was probs one of my fave pokes in the older gens, but he was weak to ground attacks and was pretty useless. In Gen III, he was given levitate and that rocked my world. Gen IV added physical/special attacks which meant more pokemon could utilize STAB advantage. I liked GEN IV but some stuff like stealth rock killed it for me. GEN V added dream world, which did make some useless pokemon better, it also made the game incredibly unbalanced and made already good pokemon become overpowered.

You shouldn't be too quick to judge the newer generations as they are different, they're still good. "also a lot of the newer pokemon are so fucking dumb like those ice cream pokemon are you fucking kidding me" ehhh, i don't really mind new pokemon designs but lots of GEN I designs were awful. I mean, Voltorb and Electrode were just balls with faces. Muk and grimer were just goo and so forth. Every Generation has its fair share of good and bad designs.
