Most Listened To

albums i have listened to the most, i guess. in order, as well.
1Thrice
Vheissu

Well, it's my favorite album ever, so it makes sense I suppose. Hold Fast Hope being the only moderately weak track, everything else is sheer classic.
2Oasis
Whats the Story Morning Glory

Pretty much amazing. Don't Look Back In Anger, Morning Glory, and Champagne Supernova are brilliant, and the album flows with itself tremendously.
3John Mayer
Continuum

I had always disliked John Mayer, but for some reason I decided to purchase this album, and now its one of my favorites. Every song is strong with the exception of the last two. Heart Of Life and Belief are my two favorites on the album.
4Fleetwood Mac
Rumours

I listened to this album over the summer so much its not even funny. Lindsey Buckingham's songwriting and guitar work is some of the most underrated ever. The Chain and Never Going Back Again are two of the most underrated Fleetwood Mac songs ever.
5Oasis
Be Here Now

Yes, pretentious. But I like that. Definitely doesn't deserve all of the harsh criticisms that it often receives. While it does have some weak tracks, it also some of the best songs of the bands career (My Big Mouth, All Around The World, Stand By Me).
6Thrice
The Alchemy Index: Vols. I and II...

Obviously this album got a ton of listens from me when it came out. Definitely a strong album, but the Fire disc I feel is a bit the weak. The guitar tone is not very powerful, and for some reason the whole disc just doesn't grab your attention. Water, on the other hand, is absolutely fantastic.
7Red Hot Chili Peppers
Stadium Arcadium

Another album that gets hated on a lot but I don't really understand why. Yes, Dani California was not exactly a great song, but most of the album is riddled with classics. Turn It Again, Torture Me, Slow Cheetah, Charlie, and Hard To Concentrate are several reasons why this is #7 on here.
8Dave Matthews Band
Crash

Before Dave Matthews went all soft on everyone, he knew how to make some great tunes. No one else (that I listen to, at least) really sounds like his band, and they do a great job executing on this album.
9Vertical Horizon
Everything You Want

This got a lot of listens from me when I decided to review it, and it was then I discovered that the album has a lot more to offer besides the three hit singles. Finding Me, Miracle, and Give You Back are three songs that have unfortuantely gone unnoticed in Vertical Horizon's career.
10Chevelle
Vena Sera

After hearing I Get It on the radio I decided to pick this one up, and although I don't quite listen to the whole album as much anymore, it still has several fantastic songs. Some of them kind of blend together towards the end, but Humanoid, Paint The Seconds, and I Get It help get this album some regular plays from me.
11Thrice
The Artist In The Ambulance

I really liked this on first listen, then I hated it, and now I love it again. Don't know why I could have ever disliked it, but whatever.
12 Maroon 5
It Won't Be Soon Before Long

Say what you want, but this is a damn fine album. Miles better than Songs About Jane, this one has more to offer than just singles.
1330 Seconds To Mars
A Beautiful Lie

I know I'm gonna get a lot of shit for this one, but the first five songs on here are all fantastic and single worthy in my eyes. From Yesterday is pretty overrated, and after that song the album starts to fade in quality, but the sheer amazingness of the first five help make up for that.
14Peter Gabriel
Us

Extremely emotional, dark, and relaxed album. Only one pop song to be found (Steam), which is one of the best on the album, but the album's sound is really described with the classics Secret World and Love To Be Loved. Nothing like the pop works that Peter Gabriel had leaned towards in the 80s, Us is a fantastic album for anyone to enjoy.
15Pink Floyd
Wish You Were Here

I don't think I need to explain why this is on here.
16Thrice
The Illusion Of Safety

The more raw and brutal form of Thrice is also a favorite of mine, the sheer energy found on most tracks makes this a fantastic album, and it was my favorite Thrice album for a long long time.
17Elliott Smith
Either/Or

A fantastic album, I am so glad I decided to check out Elliott Smith, it was definitely a good decision. Great stuff to listen to while studying in my opinion as well.
18Boards Of Canada
Hi Scores E.P.

An electronica album is probably one thing people didn't expect to see here, but this EP gets an awful lot of plays from me. I can't listen to just one track, if I start it, I have to go all the way through.
19 Melee
Devils & Angels

I recently wrote a review for this under the radar piano pop/rock group. A couple songs might remind people of Ben Folds, but for the most part Melee has their own particular sound that they do a fantastic job with.
20Goo Goo Dolls
Dizzy Up The Girl

Slide, Bullet Proof, Dizzy, Iris, Black Balloon. What else do you need?
