Thelmo Rego is a solo guitarist/instrumentalist rising from the Massachusetts metal scene. After many years playing in mass
metal bands including the very popular band Embrance, Thelmo moved to Florida and started a solo career. His first solo album
entitled InstruMetal was released Nov 2012 and displayed his love of metal and progressive rock. Combining the prog elements
with the metal core and thrash metal, InstruMetal is a well rounded instrumental album with moments of intensity as well as
moments of comedy. (check out the chicken dance section in the middle of the song Tapped). Thelmo wrote and performed all
instruments on the album as well as produced and engineered the album on his own giving the listener a very personal aspect
into the mind of Thelmo Rego.
