Anthony Terrell Smith (born March 3, 1966), better known by his stage name Tone Lōc or Tone-Lōc, is an American rapper and
actor. He is best known for his two smash hit singles "Wild Thing" and "Funky Cold Medina", with the former selling over two
million copies and the latter selling over a million copies. This made Tone Loc one of the most popular rappers in the US
throughout the early 1990's. In 1995, however, Tone Loc ended up quitting the music scene, and instead focused on being an
actor exclusively. Although since around the early 2000's, Loc has been known to perform live occasionally.
