So the album holds some charm, and throughout its first half it carries a nice flow; the songs are down-tempo and catchy rand they have subtle additions like the pre-chorus effects and the mass of reverb and delay here. But I keep mentioning rthe first half, the songs drop in tempo and theres a little more melancholy there.rThe rhythm of each track is quite similar, so that starts to grind a bit too. So it seems like it could be two EPs stuck back-to-back.rMelancholy, slow & drowned in reverb results in a chance the album will just fade into robscurity with there being a lot of lofi indie music to choose from, but going back to what I said nearer the start, I believe Tyrell has some charisma hidden in his attitude towards what he does, so it wouldnt be a waste of time to give this album a listen, but also to keep an eye on him to see if he can put some clever indifference back into indie music, rbecause music?s no fun when its too careful.
