I really wanted to love this record, but I'm afraid their As Was greatness is the past now. I still do believe they should have kept their clean-singing focused style. (OK, we had songs like "NYC Nightmares" but that's not enough) The record feels a bit too "all-over-the-place", and I kinda miss some coherency here, despite it combines great kind of melodic black with other genres such us post-metal, industrial and I even daresay some sludge too - which normally would be a postivie trait (=diversity). It's not bad in any means though, I do believe many people will enjoy this record a lot, but at least for me, their previous LP remains their best output yet.
