Just more of the same bland piano driven psuedo-alt/rock as their later releases. Sounds basically like a mishmash of the common features of all the songs American Idol contestants cover.

The Fray is formulaic, let's be frank. But if you liked "How to Save a Life" and already gone through their major-label recordings, go for this EP with no fear: it is as good as hell.

This EP started out like it could be what I was waiting for my whole life. Unfortunately, after "Without Reason" it simply becomes mediocre. Definitely check it out if "How to Save a Life" grabbed your attention, you may find this even better. Recommended Songs: Together, Some Trust, Without Reason
