Currently listening to this mix tape as I am writing this, on the second to last song, and I'm realizing how good this really is.
I have never heard of Translee until I checked new music on Apple Music and this popped up. Having nothing else to do, I started listening to it. It sounds nothing like any other rap in 2016.
From the first song you can kind of sense a jazz influence, and very slick production. There is no shortage of bars and flow, because he kills every song.
It's growing on me and if you came back to me in a week, I'm pretty sure I would change the rating to a little higher. This is a great example of the talent in the underground rap scene.
Translee shouts out other lesser known rappers on this album too, as if he is telling him that there is a way into the mainstream.
Idfk what im saying now but I hope this man continues to make music and this is a really solid project.
