3.5 great | Voivod STAFF | July 26th 15 | Skrew endorse the kind of industrialized metal that hints directly to the '90s, and admittedly, they have put their music where their mindset was. However, I'm merely a whining lad when I say that I would like the "industrial" factor - and killer tracks like "Rise" and "Universal Immolation" - to be more pronounced.

3.7 great | Trey STAFF | September 24th 14 | Skrew started out in the early 90s as an excellent and diverse industrial metal band. Unfortunately, they started hoping on trends and diluting their sound — accelerating their eventual demise only six years (and four albums) later. Universal Immolation picks up where the band’s debut left off. It’s dark, heavy industrial metal, but there’s a difference. The band has integrated a pretty strong post metal influence into the songs that helps the album from just sounding dated.
