Finally listening. This is good! It’s also nothing different from what Priest have already done better on other records (namely Painkiller and Firepower, with a little bit of a Defenders vibe in parts). Impressive for their age, but it does start to feel a bit one note by the time Giants rolls round.

Rob Halford had problems with drugs and alcohol, because he could not accept that he was gay. In the early nineties he quit everything and he has said that this saved his life. He also came out around the same time (as if nobody knew already).
