It is. The run from Plague Dancer to Crystal X is flawless. They stumble with the Anthony Green track but Phoenix makes up for it tenfold.

It’s definitely pretty good I really dig the Brandon Boyd feature song. It’s hard for me to really get into instrumental music these days and my biggest gripe with this record is I wish they had vocal features throughout the record instead of just on two songs. To me it makes the vocal songs more jarring when you listen to the album from beginning to end.

I think the vocal features work because they're on the more "atmospheric" tracks and they keep them out of the more energetic ones so it feels like a deliberate choice
