I’ve been listening to this on and off since it came out, definitely one of her strongest efforts imo, she’s at her best in this understated melodic realm, even though she can belt when she wants to. This basically feels like a continuation of Positions, so I’m happy, and it’s a smart choice to keep all the tracks short so they don’t overstay their welcome.

I think this has tighter and more melodically focused songwriting than positions. The production is also brighter and tuned towards pop arrangements rather than beatmaking
