Still not sure how I feel. At first listen I say that the main issue the reviewer had with the album is accurate, but still definitely not lower than a 3. I'm at around 3.5 atm, which is disappointing to tell you the truth.
I'm in love with Storytime. The Crow, the Owl, and the Dove is pretty awesome as well. From first listen those two are the ones who stood out the most; though there are some other very good songs like Turn Loose the Mermaids.

Oh dear god does this sound awful. It's a very bad copy of the amazing Unexpect. It's as if Unexpect hired a drunk hobo to sing for them and Britney Spears to play the guitar... Damn this is terrible.

I turned this record off when I heard the vocal mixing on Ghost River. Afterwards, I gave it another shot and I was glad I did. This is a huge album full of a massive amount of ambition and creativity. Slow, Love, Slow is such a beautiful track and I Want My Tears Back has to be one of my all time favorite Nightwish songs. It's just fun as hell to listen to.
