however does not follow through with the conscious insanity of Jane Doe or the raw power of You Fail Me.
Which is exactly why this album is their best for me.
Petitioning is unaware of such faults, therefore making most of the material sound pretty juvenile.
What does that even mean?

it means the band doesn't understand what they're doing wrong yet, and the outcome was songs that sound like a young, inexperienced band

This isn't a review.
Just a sloppy piece of writing that says next to nothing about how this album sounds.

I agree that this album is "juvenile" in a way, but I don't agree that The Saddest Day is the best song. Color Me Blood Red, Homesong and Antithesis greatly outshine the rest. This record sounds incomplete, but it has it's gems.

Well written review. It's funny to see the hate negs. I agree with almost everything you said, but I find 'No Heroes' to be their shittiest albums. pos

I have no idea how this can be considered well written at all, apart from making grammatical sense. The only paragraph that actually includes any analysis of the music rather than making sweeping, unsubstantiated claims, (the middle one), doesn't actually say a single thing about how the album sounds, apart from saying 'this song sounds like this other song which sounds a bit like this other song which sounds like this other band'. Quite literally, the only two things he's actually described here is that The Saddest Day has math metal sections and that the clean vocals are sometimes off key (without considering that that might be the point).
These aren't hate negs, this review is genuinely terrible.
