Serene mix of sounds. The lyrics has the potential to mature over time. Will look out for this band!

Is it just me or hardly anyone knows this album exists? There's a very good reason why... I simply can't tell the difference from the last one. Somewhat decent, but no creativity.

When this was released, it was different from the rest of what was available in the market. Her soaring vocals make you forget how simple the lyrics are and make you smile.

Loved the Eagles. Not because my parents were hammering them into my head ever since I can remember, but because so many of their songs set a real standard for country rock in their time. Thought the band was DEAD till I found the album sitting in the 'new releases' section of a record store. As I listened to "What Do I Do With My Heart", something hits me. The Eagles have gone pop man... Not a bad album, but not ground breaking. No amazing record, only decent.

The tune is heavier, less commercial and simply superb. This album is unique compared to her earlier works. Gotta love the cheeky "Man Of The Hour"!

Despite what a lot of people are saying about this album, I'd say this album shows how the band members have changed as individuals. That was reflected ever so clearly in this record. Sure, they're no longer funky and out-of-the-box. But when you look at each individual songs, they're solid tracks. Less experimenting but improved sound quality and more attention to details. To me, it just seems like they've finally found the genre they want to be in.

Liked the first LP, but turned into a fan after this one. "Helpless Blues" is SOLID. The opening "Montezuma" acted as a perfect transition from "Fleet Foxes" to "Helpless Blues". As album took a less negative and livelier turn, "Blue Spotted Tail" and "Grown Ocean" beautifully sums up the journey and leaves you longing for more.
