MF DOOM Special Herbs: The Box Set5.0
MF Doom is a producer/DJ who works behind the scenes of Rap ( cant call it hip-hop considering thats what MTV labels rap nowadays, the only real rap anymore is the underground). Special Herbs is a series of albums of nothing but bumping mind altering beats. No words just sick original beats. Infact I wish that all of these beats had lyrics to them, but by being just beats, Doom puts you into a trance and uses the sort of "soundtrack to your life" idea. All of the beats are 100% original and better than some of the "beats" heard on most Hip-Hop tracks nowadays. The type of beats from back in the day when rappers actually cared about every piece of their tracks. No LaffyTaffy syndrome with these beats. Its almost poetry without words. All of the tracks enter your soul. If you just love music and wanna hear some uplifting happy tunes and just get taken away you got to listen. Just be sure to have a big appetite.
