Deluxe version rwas totally worth the $80 too! Edit: This album is really great. Lived up to all my rexpectations and I can't wait for Descension as that will probably make this album beyond repic!Frank Turner Last Minutes and Lost Evenings4.0Title Fight Floral Green4.0Seth Sentry This Was Tomorrow4.0The Presets Pacifica4.0Circa Survive Violent Waves4.5The Smith Street Band Sunshine and Technology5.0So in 18 months The Smith Street Band have had 3 releases. And every single one of them have been fucking astounding. The follow up to NOGLA lacks the slower songs that paced their debut full length, but it doesn't effect Sunshine and Technology at all. The album is full of folk-punk anthems, catchy hooks and brilliant lyrics. AOTY, without a doubt.Milhouse Thrillhouse4.0TNGHT TNGHT3.5Pierce the Veil Collide with the Sky2.0Hunting Grounds In Hindsight4.0Hail the Sun Elephantitis3.5The Medics (AU) Foundations4.0Jack White Blunderbuss3.5Deep Sea Arcade Outlands4.0The Menzingers On the Impossible Past3.5Burial Kindred3.5San Cisco Awkward2.0Awkward is a catchy song but seriously fuck this band.Hermitude HyperParadise4.0Anthony Green Beautiful Things4.0Literature Arab Spring4.02011 Knife Party 100% No Modern Talking3.5Matt Corby Into The Flame4.0Childish Gambino Camp4.0Pianos Become the Teeth The Lack Long After4.0La Dispute Wildlife4.5Mastodon The Hunter3.0Of Monsters and Men My Head is an Animal3.5Opeth Heritage2.5Grouplove Never Trust A Happy Song2.5The Drums Portamento2.5Excision X Rated2.5Ball Park Music Happiness and Surrounding Suburbs3.0Nero Welcome Reality2.0Gotye Making Mirrors4.0Jay-Z and Kanye West Watch the Throne4.0The Smith Street Band No One Gets Lost Anymore5.0AND LAST NIGHT, I KISSED A GIRL THAT I MET AT A BAR, WHICH IS MOMENTOUS GIVEN HOW THINGS ARE. The songs are well written and the singer drawls his way through the running time. And I fucking love every second of it. This album just hit me at the right time and connected with me. It is perfect but I can understand why people will think it's utter shit. I always come back to this album after a while and know every word, just really great.Radiohead The King of Limbs4.0James Blake James Blake3.5The Smith Street Band South East Facing Wall5.02010 Circa Survive Appendage4.0Kanye West My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy5.0SKisM Down With The Kids EP4.0Children Collide Theory of Everything2.5Arcade Fire The Suburbs3.5Birds Of Tokyo Birds Of Tokyo2.5Parkway Drive Deep Blue2.5Tame Impala Innerspeaker4.0The Drums The Drums2.5The National High Violet4.5Deftones Diamond Eyes4.5Circa Survive Blue Sky Noise5.0MGMT Congratulations2.0Coheed and Cambria Year of the Black Rainbow3.0letlive. It was the first Coheed CD I ever purchased when I was 12 after my friend showed me The Suffering and Coheed has been my favourite band since. As far as guitar work goes, in my opinion you can't do any better. The leads and hooks are amazing, although it is not as technically proficient as some of the prog metal giants. Although a great album, it does not surpass IKSSE:3 of SSTB.
