Thirty Seconds to Mars This Is War4.0
Thrice Beggars5.0
Paramore Brand New Eyes4.0
Look, I'm not a Paramore fan. In fact, I've went through all their previous records while on previous relationships with girls singing along their songs ad nauseum.
I don't know if it's the fact that I'm not dating anyone that is in love with this band at the moment has contributed to this, but I'm clearly in love with a Paramore record. I can't stand any of their past releases, but brand new eyes is amazing. I'm clearly losing scene points stating this, but I don't really care.
Anyone that usually hates their previous records, please, check out this record. I don't know if they've played safer like the reviewer said, but I do know that it's the first time I think they have achieved an - kind of hurts to admit it, hold on - excellent album with brand new eyes. Depending on how much I keep listen this, it could go even higher.

Brand New Daisy1.0
Poor Kurt Cobain. First, Guitar Hero V. Now this. If GH5 wasn't a good reason enough for Kurt Cobain to kill himself again, this would be like the final nail on the coffin.
This record would be innovative if it was released back in the nineties, maybe after Nevermind and before In Utero. If Kurt Cobain released In Utero after this, maybe Daisy could be considered innovative, but even so Kurt would have done better, since In Utero is basically what they were trying to achieve here.
The biggest draw on every Brand New records is how an awesome lyricist Jesse Lacey is. Even though some could argue that he privileges rhymes and one lines instead of good songwriting (I strongly disagree, but I've heard this kind of argument before), it's completely out of question how TDGARIM, DE and YFW have better lyrics that this. I'm the kind of guy who loves DE better than TDGARIM, but I've never denied how much of a masterpiece TDGARIM is, because it is in fact a masterpiece.
The problems with this record go beyond the fact that remembers me that I've heard this before and done it better, the major and fatal mistake on this record it's the fact that they are capable of so much better. And this effort sounds like careless because since it's been proved here, a lot of people will eat up anything they do.
I still think Jesse is a genius though. If this record hadn't the name Brand New on it, people would rip it to pieces or simply don't care. He's proving that he can literally rip off bands, do it worse and people will still eat up regardless.

Moneen The World I Want To Leave Behind4.5
Three years after the amazing "The Red Tree", .moneen. have outdone themselves. "The World I Want To Leave Behind" isn't only .moneen.'s best record to date, but one of the best records of the year. And do you know what it's a shame? Maybe some people around this website may take their time to realize that. I'd even say that it could very well go unnoticed.
The first time I've listen to this I didn't gave much attention. But I knew that this album had something goin' for it. So I gave it a 4. Now after some repeated listens I realize how much of an amazing record TWITLB is. Look, this isn't my final sound-off. This are still my first impressions. But pay attention closely to this record. Give this a chance. I don't have the words right yet, but I guess I could summarize it this way:
I'm completely blown away. Don't let this go out as an underrated gem. A real sound-off or review are coming soon.

The Used Artwork4.5
While the band everyone and your mom were expecting to deliver another amazing record, the band everyone and your dog was expecting to fail turned out to release their best record yet.

It isn't a record that the older The Used's fans and haters will fall in love instantly, but it's a grower. The most consistent release of them so far and definitely a record worthy checking out.

Taking Back Sunday New Again5.0
Three months later and who would have ever thought?
Taking Back Sunday's New Again owns Brand New's Daisy in every fuckin' way.
Definitely my favorite record of the year. Even though my mind says that the album of the year is
Thrice's Beggars, the circumstances surrounding my life around the time this was released made it even
more special.
Thank you for continuously making the soundtrack of my life, TBS.
