Bad - Freak, Angel, Slow Down
Pretty good alt-country album from Big Velvet himself. Some fun and creative styles here that,
while they aren't groundbreaking and original, they are enjoyable and well done. Genres
are being consistently blended with outlaw country, making for a pretty rocking time. |

Definite improvement from iridescence for sure. There's some absolute slappers in this album, and some mellow chill songs as well. Brockhampton feels like they went to the drawing board with this one, and man does it work. |
Jay Som Anak Ko | 4.0 |
I like the progression of Melina?s sound on this one into a mix of rock and her standard dream pop, presenting numerous catchy melodies in the dream pop section, and memorable riffs in the rock songs. The production on this also a big improvement from her last one as well. |

Volbeat Rewind, Replay, Rebound | 3.0 |
This album is a bit more commercial than previous endeavors, but that doesn't necessarily make it bad. It's got quite a few enjoyable songs on here. They've definitely gone more into a "rock band" sound than a "metal" sound here, but it's still enjoyable if the style change is taken as they're just trying something a little bit different. I don't hate softer Volbeat, I just wish there was more of a blend between the old and the new, because this album doesn't really have any "metal" songs on it. |
iamthemorning The Bell | 3.5 |
Skillet Victorious | 1.0 |
It's like if Imagine Dragons got a bit edgier but had even less substance. This is puke-inducing at times with it's cringy pop-metal feeling. |

An awful attempt at melding trap rap and metal of all things, this album has an identity crisis that sees this album being unable to pick a target audience. Is it for metal fans or rap fans? As a fan of both, I can say this album fails to appeal to me in any sense. I can kind of commend these guys for trying something unique, but I will not say that it's a worthwhile product at ALL. |

Strangely intriguing and abrasive synth-pop that has managed to capture my attention for longer than I feel it should have. Too many songs I love from this album, Earfquake, A Boy Is A Gun, What's Good, Gone Gone/ Thank You, Are We Still Friends, and more. Tyler has crafted something special here, and I'm left wondering if he'll continue this new direction, or go back to his roots on his next album. |

Injury Reserve Injury Reserve | 4.5 |
Eclectic rap that strangely feels somewhat accessible. The production blows my mind, and the beats and flows are insane. The features feel great, as all of them feel right at home here, and add their own style to this amalgamation of different sounds. One of the best rap albums of the year by far. |

Logic Confessions of a Dangerous Mind | 1.0 |
Logic wastes many decent beats here on awful bars that range from forgettable to cringy as hell. He literally raps about how he would suck a dick to prove he isn't homophobic. Masterclass writing there Logic. |

Full of barely tolerable songs that sound like Imagine Dragons ripoffs, this album is uninspired and cliche to the point of absolute boredom. Guests Kacey Musgraves and Jon Bellion sound pretty good for their parts, but can't save the album from being an insufferable experience. one of the worst of the year. |

The only emotion this album elicits from me is pure boredom. It is so lifeless and hollow that I had to listen to this album in increments of 2-3 songs to get through the entire thing. None of these songs are worth a second, or even a first listen. |

You know what's worse than listening to this album all the way through? Listening to The Click all
the way through, and then listening to this all the way through. Worst decision I've ever made. |
Cokie The Clown You're Welcome | 2.5 |
This whole album is bleak and barren as Fat Mike's character, Cokie the Clown, wades through
numerous horrible situations in his life.
EDIT: I've started to not really enjoy this one all that much |

it that just add fuel to this dumpster fire. One of the worst albums of the year so far. |

One of the most boring, forgettable albums I think I've listened to. Singing is nice but the lyrics suck. Instrumentals are really boring. |

This album is fantastic in every sense of the word. Every song brings something fascinating to the table, and, on top of it all, Natalie's voice is absolutely stunning. The harmonies and lyrics elevate this album beyond any pop album I've heard this year. One of the best of the year for sure. |
