There are so decent tracks here, opener is specially good and pop the balloon is interesting, despite sounding like Daft Punk's Robot Rock?? lol.
Regardless, this is a disappointment, I hope this album is just some synth pop experimentation, they definitely have a lot of talent and can return to the quality Broken Machine |

From sheer heaviness to the more shoegaze atmospheric stuff these guys are the real thing, I'm hoping they keep improving because I could definitely see this band be the next big thing when it comes to British alternative/hardcore. They also don't take themselves seriously at all, from the song titles and the lyrics and that just makes this even better. |

Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! Gone Are The Good Days | 1.5 |
Questionable song structures, the breakdowns feel completely out of place and the more pop/puck sections are mostly dull. There is definitely potential though, hoping the band grows and use their talent in something of value |

Maybe an unfair score, there is nothing wrong with the album but there's also nothing fantastic about it. The song writing is a little too straight forward and cliche and sonically it's nothing that Myles hasn't done better before.
That being said vocally Myles is great and his guitar playing is on point, super talented guy but would like to see him leave his comfort zone or go back to his jazzier or grungier roots ala Mayfield Four. |

Hey, deftones called, they want their sound back.rVery disjoint album, where the good stuff is actually great but then they transition between deftones Koi No Yokan era to a heavier sound and it feels unnatural and forced. Interesting release non the less.rRecommend: Two-Way Mirror, New Faces in the Dark, Is It Really You?, A Sad Cartoon and title track. |

They definitely lack self awareness and this production hurts their sound greatly, as well as the lack of any sort of meaningful instrumentation. rWill give it a few more tries but besides Darkside this is pretty disappointing. |

Pretty great progressive rock with some very nice electronic elements mixed in |

IDK Is He Real? | 2.5 |
Guy is definitely talented and has a quirkiness/weirdness that is really appealing but the content is so meh. The cover and intro feel like he's got something to say (or ask) about the existence God's but it goes nowhere really... |
Lana Del Rey Norman Fucking Rockwell! | 3.5 |
Tool Fear Inoculum | 3.5 |
7empest is great with Pneuma and the title track following closely behind for me. The rest of the album however seems a bit too self-indulgent. |
Anthony Green Would You Still Be With Strings | 3.5 |
Crobot Motherbrain | 3.0 |
Not as good as their previous effort, however tracks like Burn, Gasoline and Blackout really prove this band still has it. Much like everything else these guys put out the album is fun but, this time, lacking some of the punch and self-awareness the other albums exuded. |
Rapsody Eve | 3.5 |
The female rapper I've been personally waiting for, great content, flows and bars. The message of inclusivity and respect should be obvious but is unfortunately needed... Might bump this to a 4 if a few tracks grab me more on further listens. |
Little Brother May The Lord Watch | 3.0 |
Killswitch Engage Atonement | 3.0 |
Much like Incarnate the band seems to be in full auto-pilot, not bad since there are some strong performances but still disappointing given their perceived (by me) potencial |
Ride This Is Not a Safe Place | 3.5 |
Slipknot We Are Not Your Kind | 3.5 |
Bon Iver i,i | 2.0 |
,redundantly, ,edgy,
I guess some moments are ok but I can't enjoy this |
Northlane Alien | 2.0 |
Despite some good moments, specially Freefall (which is Northane going full Architects), but the album overall is pretty boring specially lyrically. The electronic components of the tracks don't do anything good for their sound, it just shows a lack of imagination, making it seem like they wrote a boring album realised it and tried to "bring me the horizon" it. |
The Alchemist Yacht Rock 2 | 3.0 |
Wolves at the Gate Eclipse | 3.0 |
I used to really like these guys, so far this album is not doing anything for me. The band is definitely missing some personality or at least willingness to experiment or do anything remotely interesting. That being said it is, as always, very consistent vocally and the band's autopilot seems to be in gear. |
NF The Search | 3.5 |
This is a very solid project. First time listening to him but I'm pleased with what I've heard so far, very introspective and straight forward |
Maxo Kream Brandon Banks | 3.0 |
Torche Admission | 3.0 |
As much as I dig the riffs on this there's still not much I can enjoy. I liked it more on a first listen when I was just working with this as background but as soon as I pay attention to the whole picture it still has some cool moments but is overall ok. |

Despite some nice grooves, this often feels like I'm listening to Theory of a Deadman on steroids |
Dear Sherlock II | 2.5 |
A little too similar to Muse, usually it wouldn't bother me but it feels like a rip off at times |

CHON CHON | 3.0 |
Nothing really stood out, it is a pleasent listen and definitely will listen to it a couple more times but the album as a whole feels very repetitive and without purpose. That being saind, these guys sure are talented and I can see people just jamming this for that chill summer vibe. |

The National I Am Easy to Find | 2.5 |
Interpol A Fine Mess | 3.0 |
Weird production might hurt it at times but its still a solid EP that seems to comprise of B-tracks that I'm glad were put out. The first half of the EP is definitely stronger from my point of view. |

High Crimes does a great job of being fun and accessible hard rock, reminiscent of some of bands like Foo Fighters with a punk punch to it. |
Rico Nasty and Kenny Beats Anger Management | 3.0 |
Thrice Deeper Wells | 3.5 |
Still not the Thrice I'd like to hear, but maybe better than their last effort - Palms. Production feels a little wonky and there isn't much improvement lyrically but still an enjoyable small ep |
Anderson .Paak Ventura | 3.0 |
Numenorean Adore | 3.5 |
Nightwatchers La Paix Ou Le Sable | 3.5 |
Turns out the "old school" punk scene is alive and well, refreshing french act with some really cool guitar licks and bass lines. |
Periphery Periphery IV: Hail Stan | 4.5 |
First 4 tracks are amazing. Production, vocals and overall musicianship is on point, then "Follow Your Ghost", "Crush" and "Satellites" have some high points.rAs for Crush, I don't mind the experimentation, they've always liked to play around with electronic elements but I really hope they don't go that direction in the future...rI really wanted to review this but seeing the comments on SH's review made me change my mind real fast |

Johnny Booth Firsthand Accounts | 4.0 |
This is great, riffs and drums absolutely slay with some really cool attention to detail by the band. My only gripe is the lack of experimentation from the vocalist, kind of a one trick pony, would like there to be a little more emotion and/or vulnerability in his voice. But overall great project |
Dirty Honey Dirty Honey EP | 3.0 |
Sometimes fun but often a little too similar to 80s rock we've heard before... The band does however have a lot of potential |
