Cry of Love Brother4.0
Absolutely underrated Blues/Rock album from the 90's. The rythme section is excellent, Audley Freed is a brillant underrated guitar player and Kelly Holland was a fantastic singer...RIP.

A little-known blues classic. John Campbell had an amazing voice and guitar playing. The title track "One believer" is a poignant masterpiece.

Another excellent album from the too underrated John Campbell.
Justin Sullivan Navigating by the stars5.0
A masterpiece of Folk music. Justin Sullivan is a genius songwriter, one of the best, incredibly underrated. A desert island album.
Meg Myers TZIA3.0
Overproduced and a certain lack of focus but Meg's voice is still great and some of the songs are good.
Meg Myers Take Me To The Disco4.0
"Constant" is the best track here, very moving, but "Numb", "Some people", "Little black death" and "Funeral" are powerful too. Meg's best album...haunting.
Meg Myers Sorry3.5

Uneven but "True liars" is very good and i rate "Last laugh" 5/5, one of Meg's best songs.
Meg Myers Thank U 4 Taking Me 2 The Disco3.0
"he underground" is a great, catchy song but the others tracks are not as memorable.
Molly Tuttle City of Gold3.5
"Stranger things" and "Goodbye Mary" are the best songs on this album. She is really a stunning voice and guitar player.r
Molly Tuttle Crooked Tree3.5
I really like "Dooley's farm", "Castilleja" and the title track, but "The river knows" is the masterpiece of the album...fantastic, sad and poetic lyrics, and Tuttle's voice is great.
New Model Army From Here4.0
A very solid last album from one of the UK's best and most underrated Rock/Folk bands. Justin Sullivan is still a genius and "Conversation" is the best track on the album.
New Model Army Winter3.5
"Born feral" is a fantastic song, the others very good tracks are "Burn the castle", "Winter" and "Strogoula". A solid album.
New Model Army Between Dog And Wolf4.0
NMA at their most experimental. Best songs: "March in September", "Seven times", "I need more time", "Pull the sun", "Between dog and wolf"...most of the tracks are stunning.
New Model Army High4.5
One of NMA's best albums. Superb from the first song to the last song.

One of NMA's best albums. "You weren't there", "Orange tree roads", "Someone like Jesus", "Leeds road 3AM", "Snelsmore wood" are fantastic songs.

One of NMA's best albums. "Here comes the war", "Fate", "Living in the rose" and "White light" are incredible and powerful.

New Model Army No Rest For The Wicked3.5
A very 80's production sound but still a very good album with fantastic lyrics and bass lines.
New Model Army The Ghost of Cain4.5
Probably NMA's best album with the masterpiece THUNDER AND CONSOLATION.rAll the 10 songs are incredible!
New Model Army Thunder and Consolation5.0
New Model Army Between Wine And Blood4.0
"Devil's bargain" and "Happy to be here" are incredible songs, the 4 others tracks are excellent. Justin Sullivan is still a genius.
New Model Army Unbroken3.5
"First summer after", "Cold wind", "I did nothing wrong", "If i am still me", "Legend" and the others: as always with New Model Army the melodies and choruses are catchy, the drums and the bass are powerful and Justin Sullivan's lyrics are relevant, sensitive, beautiful and touching. A great band still underrated in 2024, after a 40 years career..
Samantha Fish Runaway3.5
"Money to burn" is great! A good blues album.
Samantha Fish Wild Heart3.5
"Bitch on the run" is a brillant song, one of Samantha's big classic!
Samantha Fish Belle Of The West3.5
"Daughters" is maybe Samantha's best song, a wonderful, touching track. I also like "Blood on the water".
The Sound From The Lion's Mouth4.5
"Winning" and "Silent air" are unforgettable songs and the others tracks on FROM THE LION'S MOUTH are excellent. One of best post punk albums, it's as good and maybe better than The Cure and Joy Division's best moments. Adrian Borland was an incredibly underrated singer and songwriter. RIP.
The Sound In The Hothouse4.5
It's an INCREDIBLE live album, so intense. The live versions of "Winning", "Silent air", "Total recall", "Under you", "Red paint" and "Missiles" are mind-blowing, and better than the studio album versions.
The Sound All Fall Down4.0
Underrated album, eclectic in its styles. For "Monument", "Where the love is", "We could go far", "In suspense", etc.
The Sound Heads & Hearts3.5
The band's music here is more "mainstream", accessible, we sometimes think of Simple Minds, but Adrian Borland's voice is still beautiful and touching, there are some very good tracks like "'Under you", "Whirlpool" , "One thousand reasons", "Love is not a ghost" and of course the wonderful classic "Total recall". A very nice album, even if not as strong as FROM THE LION'S MOUTH.
The Sound Shock of Daylight4.5
Terrific mini album. Borland's voice is always beautiful and moving, his guitar inspired, Graham Bailey's bass lines are punchy, the melodies very beautiful. ""Longest days", "Winter" and "New way of life" are melodic and poignant masterpieces.
The Sound Thunder Up3.5
5/5 is for the sublime and haunting "You've got a way", one of The Sound's greatest songs The rest of the album is much less strong, but there are some good tracks including the excellent and Doorsian "I give you pain". It may be the band's least successful album, but it's still essential for fans of Adrian Borland.
